I met Stephanie on a photoshoot with my dear friend Christophe Cohen, whom I have known for many years and who has taken some amazing photos of me.
I trusted Christophe so much I knew that Stephanie would be really good and boy was he right, when you are in your 70’s you don’t want to overdo the hair and make up, and I have to say she made me look lovely. I also learnt quite a lot from her in the process.

I tasked Stephanie with the very difficult job of doing my wedding day makeup whilst having to mop up my tears every 5 minutes just after perfecting each eye! She mastered the job with professionalism, calm and kindness. I felt completely at ease with Stephanie, and knew I could completely trust her. It’s amazing how transformed I felt and yet she used products I use all the time, but the time taken to apply each product with care and skill made it look so different to anything I wore before! I have spent years not being able to get my make up right for me. Stephanie was absolutely brilliant, she took me through the whole process and was really clear and good at helping me to use the brushes and applicators properly. She really understands colour and helped me to gauge the tones and colours that work with my colouring. I learned how to colour and shape my eyebrows too which is something I’ve really struggled with. As someone who doesn’t wear make up and has given up trying I am now enjoying applying it and I like the results, it’s been such a great lesson.
My son got married recently so I knew Stephanie was the person to do my make up. I have complete confidence in her. She is utterly professional and extremely experienced. As a 61year old I was sensitive about my face looking overly made up and seeing the make up too much. Stephanie is brilliant at applying makeup so that you still look natural and she went to a lot of trouble trying different products to get it just right. Not only did my make up look great but Stephanie has a wonderful calm demeanour that really helped on the wedding morning when I was all nervous and anticipating the day the hour of having my make up done was soothing and calming.

I treated both my daughters to a duo make-up lesson with Stephanie and they were delighted. My eldest is 18 and youngest 16 so it was a perfect late /early birthday present for them and a lovely thing to do together during the holidays. The investment was worth it as Stephanie guided them towards the right products and colours so we knew exactly what to get and where to go. She also took the time to show, explain and teach them techniques so they left confident in what they were doing immediately after the session. I had a make up lesson with Stephanie and couldn’t be more happy with how it went. The lesson gave me more confidence, inspiration and techniques than I’ve ever had around make up. The tips on colours of make up to buy have been invaluable and advice on how to better look after my skin is already making a difference. I was nervous before going but Stephanie’s kind and gentle approach put me at ease, I was able to enjoy the lesson and felt really motivated to get started with everything I had learned once I got home.
I recently had a session with Stephanie as was getting married (aged 60). I rarely use makeup anymore and have quite sensitive skin but when I did, had been doing the same look for years. This was both boring and so minimal that it wasn’t really doing anything at all! Stephanie looked through my make-up and picked out a few pieces that really worked well for me. She also advised me to get a less pale tinted moisturiser but that was about it in terms of product recommendations. She’s easy to be with and is very thorough in her approach – eg. wrote me a ‘plan’. This included the order of what to do first as well as practical suggestions for things to buy eg. a portable mirror (I was staying a hotel the night before my wedding and they don’t always have good mirrors), some useful boots cosmetic cotton buds with different shaped ends (gamechanger!) + waterproof mascara (potential tears on wedding day). Practical, super helpful and easy to follow and whenever I’ve done it – eg. on my wedding day and for a nights out since – people keep saying how well I look and all seem to be using the word “glowing”! I look like myself but a really great version of myself. I highly recommend Stephanie, the session enabled me to achieve exactly the feeling of confidence and polish I wanted – without actually looking made-up.
My mum and I had a duo make up lesson with Stephanie, just wow! I came away with a new make up plan and a skin routine. Stephanie guided us through make up application and product, her guidance was completely tailored to our needs and what we wanted to learn from the class. I had a great make-up lesson with Stephanie! As I get older I could tell the way I was doing my make-up was not working anymore but I could not figure out how to make it better. Stephanie identified straight away what I was doing wrong with my foundation and eye make-up and showed me how to achieve a great look, with as a bonus, much less make-up. Not only does it look better thru the day it is also much easier to remove in the evening :). 100% recommend if you are stuck with your make-up routine!
I never really learnt how to do make-up properly and with my son’s wedding coming up, I booked a lesson with Stephanie. I was out of my comfort zone, but she was so welcoming and gave such easy simple instructions to follow on how to do daily make up, that best suited me (without it taking ages each day!). Surprisingly I’ve actually bought the items she mentioned I might like ( there was no absolutely pressure to) and I’ve used the newly learnt techniques daily. It obviously worked as I’ve had people including my hairdresser actually comment on my make-up!

Following a friend’s recommendations, I booked a make-up lesson with Stephanie, who taught me a lot of helpful information on how to apply makeup and what products to use. She looked through my cosmetics and advised which looked good on me and which didn’t suit me. I was very impressed by how she incorporated my products into the lesson and advised what else I should buy. She picked a colour I would have never picked in a shop for my eye makeup, which looked fantastic. I had the best experience with Stephanie and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else.

I booked a teen makeup lesson for my 12 year old daughter for a Christmas present. I found Stephanie on a google search and reached out to her via email where she responded very quickly!
We found a date that was suitable and today myself and my daughter visited Stephanie for the lesson.
From start to finish Stephanie was amazing! She went through all the different types of makeup and colours suitable for my daughter. She would explain everything to my daughter in such a way that my daughter wasn’t overwhelmed by all the information. I was also incorporated when Stephanie was explaining which I thought was really respectful and also gave me the knowledge if my daughter forgets anything or needs help practising.
The makeup she taught my daughter with, was of great quality and the colour match was spot on. She even wrote everything down which we took away with us for future reference!
Stephanie’s make up techniques and training is second to none and I would highly recommend her!

I had booked a make up lesson with Stephanie as I felt I needed to totally change the way I was wearing my makeup . I was really impressed with the different ideas Stephanie gave me and how to apply it correctly which does make a big difference and advising me on the colours to wear and going from powder to cream blusher which again made a big difference !

I was visiting London for a design award black tie event and knew that I wanted my make-up done by a professional. Google led me to Stephanie and I could not have been more happier with the results.
She took time to understand what I wanted and created a beautiful look for me that lasted the entire evening, yet was easily removed at the end of the night. She really played up my eyes, whilst leaving my natural skin tone showing in a very natural way. Stephanie was very professional, but at the same time very relaxed and approachable. Even though this was a joint session, she gave us all very focused individual time to address the areas that we wanted to improve. Stephanie was really great at demonstrating different approaches for all of us depending on our colouring, facial shapes, skin tone etc and then explained carefully how to implement each technique, and guiding us when we practised ourselves.
I got so much out of the day, for me personally, the tips on how to improve my eye makeup has made such a difference. I was dedicated to ‘liquid line’, but with the increase of wrinkles round my eyes was finding it harder to do – the tips that Stephanie has given me has meant I can recreate a similar look with as much, if not more impact than before.

Having always worn the same look for the last 30 years I thought it was about time I booked a make-up lesson! Stephanie was great, she showed me a quick and easy to achieve a day look and how to transform it into an evening look. She used several products from my existing make-up bag and made suggestions for new products that complimented my colouring. The session was very relaxed and I now feel much more confident applying eyeliner, eye shadow and blusher and I have a handy diagram in case I forget any of the techniques. Booking a lesson with a make up artist was something that had been on my list to do for a couple of years and I’m so pleased I booked time with Stephanie. She gave me more confidence in the make up that I was already using and showed me how to experiment and be bolder. Stephanie provided tips around application, removal and the right brushes to use. I was lucky enough to be gifted a 1-1 make up lesson with Stephanie from C’est Magnifique by my dear and generous friend Sally. I’d recently brought a lot of make up from a friend to support her new online business, but didn’t really have the know-how or confidence to use some of it! Stephanie was brilliant! I didn’t know what to expect from having my make up professionally done, but it was one of the most relaxing experiences ever – which is really important on your wedding day! We experimented with a couple of looks during the trial session and Stephanie explained what would work for me in terms of general skin care and everyday make up. On the big day, I had the BIGGEST break out of blemishes and spots that I’ve ever experienced (thanks skin), but Stephanie worked her magic and the overall effect was flawless!

My sister and I had a two-hour make-up class with Stephanie and we both loved it. My make-up knowledge before the class was extremely limited and for that reason I did not really wear a lot of make-up. Stephanie explained all the steps of applying make-up, starting from the very basics which I needed and even provided some helpful notes to act as a reminder! She advised on the correct techniques, best brushes to use and took us through a day-time look to a night-time look. Stephanie started with the make-up that we were already using, which was great and only advised alternative products if she felt it was really necessary. Above all of that, Stephanie is extremely friendly, professional and made us feel at ease right from the start. I found Stephanie a wonderful, caring, and warm person who took the time to listen to what I needed. We achieved a look which was exactly as I had hoped, the make-up felt great (not too heavy) and lasted a long time even in hot weather. I have come across quite a few make-up artists over the years for photo shoots and special occasions, and Stephanie has been one of the best. I’ve had very little make-up knowledge before my session with Stephanie. I hardly wore make-up and didn’t enjoy putting it on. Since my lesson with Stephanie, I started putting on make up in everyday life much more often and I actually enjoy it. It was great to learn more about the art of make-up and Stephanie explained not only ‘the how’ but also ‘the why’ of the make-up process.
Thanks to Stephanie, I learned how to apply make-up properly using the right brushes and she also advised on the best colours that work for me. I started to enjoy using make-up and look and feel so much better now, every day. I can truly say that Stephanie changed my life. Thanks again!!!
