Makeup for 50+

Friday, November 24th, 2017

Over the year I have seen hundreds of ladies in their 50’s or 60’s (and beyond), who felt suck with their makeup looks. Sometimes still doing the same look from 20 years ago (sometimes longer!). Or overwhelmed by the choice of products available at the makeup counters. Often not being sure how to adapt to their hair colour changing and skin tone. Or knowing how to do your eye makeup, as the eyeliner may now look too harsh or the eye shape may not be suitable anymore for that product etc..                                    I love helping women regaining their confidence through using products that enhance their beauty and showing them how to simply achieve it with the right application technique or tool. I have seen so many women transform in front of my eyes, looking instantly radiant again, even ‘younger looking’ by just changing a couple of things in their makeup routine. I do Makeup Lessons that are completely bespoke to the person, to teach you and help you with any makeup concerns you may have. You can visit my Makeup Lessons page http://www.cestmagnifique.co.uk/services/makeup-lessons/ for further details. It’s a great present idea too, for someone who needs a Makeover or a Boost in their life. Gift Vouchers are available too.

elkie

What an honour it has been to work with the Amazing Elkie Brooks. Elkie is one of those true artist with a singing career spanning 4 decades. She has an incredible, rich voice and I also had the pleasure to watch her live in London a couple of years ago.

We worked together for the first time a few years back, when we shot her album and book cover. This photo is one taken on that day. We had a lot of fun on this shoot! Elkie is lovely and full of wonderful stories.

We then had the the opportunity to work together again last year and we once more had a wonderful time together!

She recently wrote a lovely testimonial for me, saying:

‘I met Stephanie on a photoshoot with my dear friend Christophe Cohen, whom I have known for many years and who has taken some amazing photos of me.

I trusted Christophe so much I knew that Stephanie would be really good and boy was he right, when you are in your 70’s you don’t want to overdo the hair and make up, and I have to say she made me look lovely. I also learnt quite a lot from her in the process’
I look forward to see her live again in April this year. I love doing makeup and meeting truly wonderful artists and people of all walks of life.
More adventures to come soon…
