Last November I was doing makeup for one of my amazing clients in London, whom I have worked with for over 10 years.
Her daughter is the incredibly successful vlogger Amelia Liana, who has a fantastic social media following. Her photos are so gorgeous and she gives fab advice on everything style, beauty, travel etc. I remember Amelia as a young girl so it’s been so incredible to see her become this huge vlogger, so much work and dedication goes into it! I coudn’t help and share this video from last year, where you can see me in action around 9.11 minutes into the video (up til 9.57 minutes) quite fun to see me very concentrated, blending shadows and doing a very glamorous makeup for a charity event my lovely client is attending later that day. How beautiful is she by the way!
I am completely in love with my new Urban Decay ‘Heavy Metals’ palette. There are some great colours, lots of lovely earthy tones on one side, and some more colourful options on the other side, all fantastic for Metallic looks, smokey and party eyes. The palette has a perfectly incorporated sized mirror which is so handy when working on clients. The colours and textures are so easy to apply, perfectly metallic and long lasting. I cannot wait to play!!
Last month I had the immense honour to do Makeup for Valentina Tereshkova, The first woman to ever go into space!!
Valentina recently celebrated her 80th Birthday and was on a visit to London from Moscow to attend various events. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I did an elegant makeup to suit her style.
It was so exciting to work with such a legend.. I was flying high 🙂 for a few days from this meeting.
I’m super excited to have moved to Brighton, and more specifically to Hove. Brighton is a very popular destination for weddings so I am really looking forward to offer my Makeup services here in Sussex as well as London. Brighton has it all.. the sea, the Downs, the shops, the atmosphere.. I don’t miss London at all!
Looking forward to the Bridal Season! I still have a few week-ends available for bookings but it is booking fast!
What an honour it has been to work with the Amazing Elkie Brooks. Elkie is one of those true artist with a singing career spanning 4 decades. She has an incredible, rich voice and I also had the pleasure to watch her live in London a couple of years ago.
We worked together for the first time a few years back, when we shot her album and book cover. This photo is one taken on that day. We had a lot of fun on this shoot! Elkie is lovely and full of wonderful stories.
We then had the the opportunity to work together again last year and we once more had a wonderful time together!
